If you have ever loved anyone, then you already know that this emotion, translated into action, can sometimes be difficult. During certain seasons and with specific people in your life, then it can seem almost impossible. However, God promises us that He will never forsake us. And He is the one who can and does give us the ability to take loving action even when we don’t feel very loving.
I especially enjoy what Marcy says about how love hopes all things. She shares some hard truths as well as encouraging verses from the bible.
“Marriage is hard. Parenting is hard. And much of the time, we are hard on ourselves. It’s easy to find justification for our lack of loving. For our lack of hope.” ~Marcy
God commands us to love anyway.
Head on over and be encouraged by what Marcy has to share. Be sure to download Love Notes from Jesus as a reminder of His love for you and how He gives us the ability to love others.
