Our family has been a church family as long as we have been a family. Even before we had children, my husband and I sought out a church in any new town as soon as we could. The reason? Being in regular communication with other believers and sitting under godly teaching is important for all Christ-followers. It is how we live, it provides sustenance for our days, and breathes life into each of us individually and as a couple.
Nearly 20 years and 5 children into our relationship, God’s Word is even more important to me. As a parent, I daily need the encouragement and truths I find within the pages of my bible. The inspired Word of God gets me through the tough days, it renew my mind, and teaches me what it is that is MOST important in every moment. Meaning, Honoring Him in all that I do.
My husband and I strive to teach our children God’s ways, even as we are continually learning even more who God is, about His mercy and grace, and as we experience both in our lives. This week I am privileged to share with you just a few ways we do this over at In All You Do in my post, 5 Ways We Are Fitting God’s Word Into Life with Our Toddlers and Preschoolers.
