As we head into the weekend, many of us look forward to spending some extra time with our families, and with our husbands. It takes work to enjoy quality time together and it won’t happen simply because we want it to. Here are a few recommended resources for focusing on and improving your marriages over the next few days and throughout the year.
Recommended Resources for Marriage
You and Me Forever: Marriage in Light of Eternity ~ I have not yet read this book but I am a big fan of Francis Chan. I anticipate big things……big ideas that will challenge me in my marriage and in my relationship with Christ.
Marriage on the Rock: God’s Design for Your Dream Marriage You’ve likely read here before my high praise for this book and the practical ideas Jimmy Evans offers in its pages. The biggest concept is its focus on Christ and our individual relationships with Him as being the MOST important issue in any marriage. Everything else falls into place from there.
Lifelong Love Affair: How to Have a Passionate and Deeply Rewarding Marriage This is another book I have not read, but I plan to add it to my Kindle library soon. Jimmy Evans’ practical teachings in Marriage on the Rock have had a great impact on our marriage, and I know that I will learn even more from this resource!
