When I begin to worry and wonder about life’s circumstances, it is a wonderful blessing and encouragement to be able to go straight to God’s word and read truth!
What is the truth?
The truth is, no matter our circumstance, our pain and suffering, or the horrors we may experience in this life, God is greater than all of it. He sees our pain, He wipes away our tears, and in the end He is the conqueror over all evil. Rather than focusing on our circumstances, we can set our eyes on Him, on His many blessings despite our current situation, and know that He is good, that He is greater!

This verse from 1 John 4:4 is beautiful reminder of God’s truth. If we are His children and He is in us, then this verse is our truth. We can overcome.
Perhaps this is not your truth. Maybe you have not made Jesus the Lord of your life. You can do that today!
- Ask Jesus to come into your life.
- Thank Him for being the Savior of the world, your Savior.
- Repent of your sins.
- Make a complete change, turning in the opposite direction, and begin to follow Him.
You can overcome, too, since He will then be living in you and you will be His child!
