Sometimes, it can feel like we are not getting the answers we need to our prayers. It can feel difficult to wait on the Lord at times when we sense an urgency, when we have been wronged, or just want to know now! However, I have learned, and in fact am still learning, that the Lord often answers in ways that I do not expect. His ways are not my ways and I am confident, even though I still may struggle in the waiting and in surrendering, that His answer to any prayer is always the best one!
This verse in Psalms 138 is an encouragement to me because it simply states that I will receive an answer and that it will strengthen me with boldness. I get excited when I find new-to-me verses like this and I do pray that you will get excited, too!
What is your prayer right now that you need God to answer? Are you listening? It could be that He already has or is in the process of answering. Think ‘outside the box’ a bit; maybe His answer will not look the way you expect. But be confident, He will answer you, and you will be made bold and strong!
